Chris Scullion was born in Bedford and has over 30 experience in structural and civil engineering, having graduated as a Civil Engineer BSc Eng at the University of The Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, where he lived for some twenty years, designing high rise rack supported buildings for storage and retrieval systems and was a major team member in the design and build of the first fully automated warehouse in the southern hemisphere, namely TW Becketts in Isando South Africa.

Since his return he has practiced in Bedford with his own consultancy. He become a limited company in 2009.
